Terms and Conditions.
JUMP 4 SPORT Terms and Conditions from January 21st 2014.
Registration Fee: A €25.00 fee must be paid per fundraiser before the Sponsorship Pack is sent out. This fee is nonrefundable.
1.1 Contact: The full contact details (name, address, phone number, e-mail address) must be given to JUMP 4 SPORT for each person to receive a Sponsorship Pack. The Sporting Club to benefit from fundraising must be nominated.
1.2 Sponsorship Pack: The fundraiser will receive a Sponsorship Pack containing a letter confirming receipt of the registration fee and confirmation of what Sporting Club the funds are being raised in aid of. A JUMP 4 SPORT Sponsorship Card will be issued with the Fundraisers name and the chosen Sporting Club written or printed on the card, tips on how best to fundraise and a copy of these terms & conditions.
1.3 Fundraising: You must raise €450 – this covers €250 for the skydive and €200 for the sporting club of choice. If, however, you raise less than €450 but more than €250 get in touch with us and we will seek permission from your sporting club of choice to see if you can proceed with your Tandem Skydive (Parachute Jump) as this will mean the charity will only get the amount over €250, for example if €350 is raised, the sporting club of choice will get €100. Another instance would be if you raise less than €250 you will not have sufficient funding to do a Tandem Skydive (Parachute Jump) in aid of a sporting club of choice. Therefore, you can either return the money to your sponsors, or, if your sponsors still wish the sporting club of choice to benefit, whatever money has been raised can be transferred to us and we will forward the funds to the sporting club of choice without any fee for a skydive being deducted. The standard fundraising period is 13 weeks and this should always be your deadline. Extensions are exceptions.
1.4 Skydive Date and Follow up: To secure your skydive date, JUMP 4 SPORT will book the fundraiser into an IAA Approved Parachute Centre on a date agreed only when the fundraiser pays either €450 (this covers the €250 for the Tandem Skydive and €200 for the sporting club of choice) or by paying €250 with a view to having the additional €200+ raised 10 days in advance of the chosen Skydive date. The Fundraiser will have 2 weeks from the date of their Skydive to collect all outstanding sponsored funds over the €450. The Fundraiser should return the Sponsorship card along with all outstanding funds to JUMP 4 SPORT. This will then be forwarded to the sporting club of choice.. After 12 months from your initial skydive booking date, your skydive becomes invalid.
1.5 Confirmation & Transparency: JUMP 4 SPORT will send a letter or email to the Fundraiser, confirming receipt of all funds paid to JUMP 4 SPORT. If €450.00 is raised, the Sporting Club will receive a minimum of €200.00.JUMP 4 SPORT will forward payment onto the Fundraisers chosen sporting club.
1.6 Confidentiality: JUMP 4 SPORT confirm they will hold all confidential information concerning Fundraisers in confidence and this to include Credit & Laser Card information which will be only transmitted in encrypted form.
1.7 Payment/Transfer of Funds: Depending on how you pay/transfer your funds. Bank Draft, Cheques and Postal Orders by post, No Charge. Bank Transfer, No Charge. By PayPal (online) between 3.5% and 5%. Laser or Credit Card 2%
2. Parachute/Skydive Centre: The Parachute/Skydive Centre are a separate entity, company and business from JUMP 4 SPORT. We accept no liability whatsoever arising from any of the activities the Fundraiser participates in and/or whilst the Fundraiser is on the premises of the participating Parachute Centre. We at JUMP 4 SPORT provide fundraisers the facility to fundraise, collect the funds, deal with the sporting club and the skydive centre. We book fundraisers into the skydive centre. The responsibility for the actual skydive is with the Skydive Centre.
2.1 Postponement or Cancellation: JUMP 4 SPORT will not be liable for any damage or loss to Fundraiser whereby such damage or loss arises from the actions or non-actions of the participating Parachute Centre/s leading to postponement and/or cancellation of any Skydive which has been agreed between the Fundraiser, JUMP 4 SPORT and the participating Parachute Centre.
2.3 Participating Parachute Centre: Activities, Location and Contact details: JUMP 4 SPORT will not be liable for any loss or damage to Fundraiser arising from a change in the participating Skydive/Parachute Centre Activities provided, location and/or contact details.
2.3 Age & Weight: There is no age limit, although Skydive Centres may change this policy at any time. If under 18 years of age, Parent/s written consent must be provided. This may be done on the actual Skydive date at the Parachute Centre when a parent obviously needs to be present.
If over 50 a letter of fitness Must be provided by your Doctor.
Weight limit is 16 Stone (102 kg) per person, this is also based on bmi (body mass index) if someone is 5 foot 8 inches and 16 stone then we cannot facilitate a skydive for that person.
3. Terms: JUMP 4 SPORT reserve the right to modify, amend or change in any way these Terms and Conditions without notification to any party.
